LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University women's basketball team picked up their 13
th loss against Westminster, 91-61. The Golden Eagles extend their record to 8-13 overall and 4-6 in SLIAC play.
In the first period, Westminster came up early on the Golden Eagles as they went on a 21-10 run. The Golden Eagles would continue to chip away at the lead as a jumper by
Natalie Fichter puts Spalding within four of the lead. The Blue Jays would continue to stride for the lead as they would go up 45-32 on the Golden Eagles to enter the half. Westminster would put up a monster second half with 46 points to take the win over the Golden Eagles, 91-61.
Merecedez Moors led the Golden Eagles with 14 points and six rebounds as
Maelyn Ridener followed behind with 12 points of her own.
