ST. LOUIS, MO. - Spalding University volleyball freshman Ella Clark was named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) All-Conference third team while sophomore Jayda Branch landed on the All-Sportsmanship Team. 

Clark starred as the setter on the Golden Eagle volleyball team.

She was the only SU team member to play in all 101 sets and tied with Branch in matches played. Clark notched 637 assists on the season. Her 6.32 assists per set was the second-best mark in the SLIAC. The Louisville, Ky. native had three matches where she tallied 40 or more assists.

Jayda Branch earned the All-Sportsmanship team honor for Spalding.

The sophomore was second in the SLIAC in kills per set (3.11) and third in total kills (308). She led the Golden Eagles in kills per set and kills while coming in second on the team in service aces with 25.

Spalding wrapped up the year with an 8-18 overall record and a 7-7 SLIAC mark. The team advanced to the SLIAC Tournament quarterfinal where they fell 3-2 to Westminster.
