LOUISVILLE, KY. - Spalding Women's Soccer earned their third shutout win of the season against the Beavers 9-0.

The action started off halfway through the first half.
Keely Ashby scored the first goal of the game just before the 20-minute mark with assistance from
Baeli Young and
Faith Rutherford. Not a minute later Young netted herself her first goal of the game with help from Rutherford. But the Golden Eagles didn't let up the offensive effort there. Within the next 10 minutes, three more goals were scored to bring the score up to 5-0. These goals were made by Rutherford assisted by
Dori Emig, Ashby for her second goal assisted by Young and Emig, and
Melaney Frick assisted by Young to round out the first half.
When the second half started the Golden Eagles didn't hold back. Young made the first goal of the second half. Within one minute of each other, both Ashby and Young made their final goals of the match brought the score to 8-0. And within the final minute of the game, Rutherford made the final score to bring the final score to 9-0. Â

- This is Young's 2nd hat trick of the season.
