EUREKA, IL. - Spalding Women's Soccer earned their 4th shutout win of the season, 10-0.

The Golden Eagles were quick to start that action early when
Faith Rutherford made a goal within the first minute of game time. But that goal was soon followed up by
Dori Emig with her first goal of the game assisted by Rutherford. With multiple shots made by both
Tayler Mahoney and
Baeli Young, Young was able to land one in the back of the net by the 12th-minute mark. But the Golden Eagles offensive surge didn't stop there. They continued to lay on the pressure with shot after shot. Then Rutherford nets her second goal of the game. Then right around the 25-minute mark,
Melaney Frick netted her first of the game. After their 5th goal of the game, the Golden Eagles kept the offense up but weren't able to connect any of their attempts in the back of Eureka's net.
As soon as the second half started the Golden Eagles went straight back on the offensive. Frick was the first one to connect the ball to the back of the net, making this her second goal of the game. Then soon after Rutherford shot and netted her 3rd goal of the game this time with an assist by Grace Stretenberger. Then Frick soon after netted her 2nd goal of the game nets her third with an assist by Rutherford which brought the score up to 8-0. Then after some attempts of trying to get the ball in the back of the net, Emig made her 2nd goal of the game. Then Eureka went on the offensive as well put up a strong defense to the point where the Golden Eagles didn't get their final goal until the 82nd minute. And this was by
