LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Spalding women's basketball fell on the road to conference rival Webster, Wednesday night, 86-63, to fall to 0-2 on the season.
Natalie Fichter led the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds,
Hannah Renfro added 12 points, and
Kendyl Powell pulled down a team-best 9 rebounds to go along with 9 points.Â
The Golden Eagles fell behind early due to a turnover riddled first half and were never able to get back into it despite shooting 44.4% from the field and 38.5% from beyond the arch.
Spalding will be back in action this weekend when they head to Blackburn College to take the Beavers Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET.
