LOUISVILLE Ky. – The Spalding University volleyball team dominated Eureka in straight sets, improving their record to 4-4 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Eagles were in control from the beginning taking the match in three sets, 14-25, 13-25, 18-25. SU was able to get ahead early and stay ahead in the first two sets. The third set was the closest set of the match, but Spalding still secured the win by seven points.
The Golden Eagles offense was led by
Hannah Holland's 15 kills. Spalding also recorded six service aces, four belonging to
Gabby Ellis.
Mya Summers connected with 31 assists.
Sarah Richards led the back row with 14 digs, while
Gabby Ellis and
Cassie Jones both added nine.
