LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding women's soccer team raced past Blackburn, 8-1, Saturday afternoon to improve to 6-5-1 overall and 4-3-1 in conference play.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 lead on goals by

Kara Krueger (10

Tayler Mahoney (16
th minute) and
Keely Ashby (38
th minute). The Beavers cut the deficit to three just before the end of the first period on a goal by Libby Adams. However, second half goals
Ally Johnson, Ashby, Mahoney and Young put the game out of reach.
Olivia Bosch earned her third win of the season limiting the Beavers to one goal.
