Golden Eagles shutout Principia, 2-0

ELSAH, Ill. – The Spalding women's topped Principia, 2-0, Saturday to improve to 5-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in SLIAC play.
 
Bailey Whitehead scored both Spalding goals on the day. Whitehead put away the game-winner in the 23rd minute to make it 1-0 and added second goal on a penalty kick in the 53rd.  Jordan Schneider earned the decision in goal tallying one save.
 
Up next, the Golden Eagles host Greenville Wednesday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET in Louisville, Ky.
