HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles started off strong led by
Hunter Wright who scored the first 10 points for Spalding.
- The Eagles got up to a 13-point lead in the second quarter, thanks to six unanswered points by
Meagan Hayden,
Allison Just, and
Hannah Renfro. However, the Tigers fought back bringing Spalding's lead down to eight points going into halftime.
- The third and fourth quarters were similar to the first half, with Spalding maintaining the lead the entire time, pushing the Golden Eagles all the way to a 22-point advantage to end the game.

Hunter Wright led Spalding with 25 points and eight rebounds.
Maleah Hirn followed with 13 points and two steals.
Hannah Renfro and
Kendyl Powell both contributed 11 points apiece.
