HIGHLIGHTS
Similar to Saturday's game, the Gorlok's jumped out to a four-run lead scoring two runs in the first inning and one run in the third and fourth innings. The Golden Eagles sliced the Webster lead in half plating two runs in the bottom of the fifth. With two outs, Zane Baker singled to right center and moved to third on a Garrett Wilson single to right field. Wilson then stole second to put runners at second and third, and Evan Trentman hit a two-run single to left center scoring Baker and Wilson cutting the SU deficit to two runs. Aided by a pair of errors, Webster responded with a five-run top of the sixth and added another run in the sixth to extend their lead to eight runs. Spalding scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to get back within striking distance. Eric Meyer and Quenton Brownlee were both hit by pitches to start the inning, and Mitchell Langley drove Meyer in with a single through the left side. Brownlee scored and Langley advanced to third on a pair of wild pitches, and a Dillon Sievert groundout brought Langley home. The Golden Eagles needed a rally in the bottom of ninth, but went three-up, three-down to end the game.

NOTABLE STATS
Starter Zach Jones (7-1) suffered his first loss of the season, allowing four runs, on six hits, while striking out four batters in 3.2 innings pitched. Garrett Wilson and Quenton Brownlee led Spalding at the plate each recording a pair of hits. Trentman drove in a team-best two RBIs.
