LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University Department of Athletics is proud to announce the addition of men's and women's lacrosse to the list NCAA sponsored sports. Men's and women's lacrosse are the 17^th and 18^th sports to join Spalding University Athletics.

Men's and women's lacrosse will begin adding a full complement of student-athletes upon the hiring of head coaches with an inaugural season targeted for 2021-22. With the sport of lacrosse continuing to grow nationally and regionally, Spalding becomes the third NCAA Division III program in the state to sponsor lacrosse, which has a season beginning in February and concluding in May.
