LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University women's soccer team dropped a game to Westminster Wednesday night, 3-1, falling to 4-6-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the SLIAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game got off to a fast start, with when Emily Siegel found the back of the net to put the Blue Jays in front just 4:49 into the game. The Golden Eagles answered a minute and forty-seven seconds later when freshman
Dori Emig slotted the equalizer to tie the score at one goal apiece.
- However, it was all Westminster in the second half as the Blue Jays' Natalie Shulte found the back of the net twice and keeper Sarah Cradick was able to save all six Golden Eagle attempts on goal to earn the win.
- Emig scored Spalding's lone goal, while
Bailey Whitehead led the Golden Eagles with four shots on goal. Between the sticks,
Kayla Strehle suffered the loss allowing three goals, while saving four attempts on goal.
