LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding volleyball team came up short against Mount St. Joseph Tuesday evening losing, 3-1. With the loss, the Golden Eagles record falls to 1-12.

HOW IT HAPPENED
⁃ The Golden Eagles came out strong taking the first set, 24-26, but dropped the next three falling to the Lions 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.
⁃ Samantha Robinson let the Spalding attack with 12 kills while
Amanda Patterson contributed seven.
Mya Summers dished out 32 assists for the match.

Dawson Kemme anchored the back line and finished the game with a team high 28 digs, while Summers' came up with 18.
Theresa Kwarciany and
Emily Erickson both had three blocks a piece at the net.
FOR THE FOES
⁃ Brianna Looney had 17 kills for the Lions and Riley Brunner finished with 16. Sydney Wilzbach passed out 45 assists for the game.
⁃ Defensively, Brunner and Karlie Schell both had 16 digs apiece and Looney finished with six blocks.
