LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Andrea Hayden comes to Spalding from Bardstown High School in Bardstown, Ky. Hayden played varsity all four years, as an outside midfielder and made the switch to sweeper/outside back. While there, Andrea was named as Region Honorable Mention junior and senior year and her team won Districts and Region runner up her senior year. She also played her club ball for Nelson Elite the last nine years.

Andrea's parents are Kevin and Crystal Hayden, and she has a sister Megan Hayden. She also has two dogs- An Australian Shepherd named Riley, and a Dachshund named Meeko. She also has a cat named cat.

Spalding Head Coach Shilo Rayburn says, "Andrea brings a lot of skill to the outside of our attack and defense. Her knowledge and ability using the sidelines will be a great asset for us this season. We will have plenty of use for her knack of running wide and look forward to what she brings to the team."

Andrea's favorite player is USWNT midfielder Julie Ertz and Brazilian star Neymar. She is most looking forward to meeting new people and starting the next chapter of her life.
