HIGHLIGHTS
The Golden Eagles failed to plate a run in a game for the first time in over a year. The biggest highlight of the game for SU came on defense when Matt Harper fielded a hard hit grounder to third, stepped on the bag, turned a fired the ball to second base completing the double play.
STAT LEADERS
Garrett Wilson continued his hot streak at the plate going 3-for-4 on the day.
Hayden Davenport (4-1) suffered the loss allowing four runs, on six hits, while striking out 10 batters and walking three, in 6.1 innings pitched.
FOR THE FOES
Austin Marsh and Bryce Pearce led the Panthers with two hits apiece.
Jonah Moore (4-4) earned the shutout win limiting the Golden Eagles to four hits, while striking out seven batters and walking one, in a complete game effort.
