LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University men's basketball team suffered a loss to Thomas More, 60-41, Wednesday evening at Columbia Gym. The loss drops the Golden Eagles record to 2-4 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At the end of the first half, Spalding trailed 36-17 after a rough shooting first half. The Golden Eagles shot 20-percent going 6-of-30 on field goal attempts, including a 0-of-11 mark from beyond the arc.
- In the second half, trailing 48-23, Spalding went on a 13-2 run, cutting the Thomas More lead into 14. However, the Golden Eagles did not have enough gas left in tank to complete the comeback falling, 60-41.
- Freshman
Jobby Howard came off the bench to lead Spalding with 11 points going 4-of-7 on the night, while
Troy Amanor chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.

- Ryne Callahan led the Saints scoring 20 points, while Damion King had a game-high 7 assists.
