LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University volleyball team lost to conference foe, Webster University three sets to zero yesterday evening at home. The Golden Eagles failed to capitalize on a festive atmosphere as their seniors were commemorated prior to the start of the last home match of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles struggled to hit the ball, finishing the match with a .039 hitting percentage.

Samantha Robison led Spalding with eight of the team's 22 kills.
- Freshman,
Emily Erickson was the primary setter, dishing out a team-high 20 assists. She also led the charge defensively for the Golden Eagles, tallying 18 digs in the contest.
FOR THE FOES
- The Gorloks finished the match with a .190 hitting percentage.
- Senior, Torie Grassi led the attack for Webster, hitting for 13 out of the team's 42 total kills.
- Junior, Jenna Rodriguez facilitated the offense by distributing a team-high 22 assists.
- Sophomore, Kristen Farrah was defensively sound, garnering 15 digs in the contest.

- The Golden Eagles will complete the rest of their 2018 regular season campaign on the road as they travel to Jacksonville, Ill. to take on MacMurray Friday at 6 pm, followed by a meeting with Iowa Wesleyan in Mount Pleasant, Iowa the following afternoon at 11 am.
