LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding volleyball team suffered a tough loss Tuesday evening, falling to the Franklin Grizzlies, 3-0. Franklin took the first set by a close margin 25-23, and won the second set 25-11. The Golden Eagles fought hard in the final set but were outscored, 29-27. With the loss, Spalding's record moves to 1-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Samantha Robison spearheaded the Spalding offense and had a game high 15 kills, while
Mya Summers dished out 24 assists.

Haley Just anchored the defense with 12 digs.
Dawson Kemme had 11 digs and
Koti Weaver added 10.

Claudia Spivey finished the game with four blocks at the net.
FOR THE FOES
⁃ Abigail Sewell led the offense for the Grizzlies with 11 kills and Maria Hersnel ended the game with 10. Mackenzie Waldren managed to pass out 36 assists.
⁃ For the defense, Libby Sthal had 19 digs on the night and Timber Falin added four blocks.
