EUREKA, Ill. – The Spalding volleyball team suffered a loss to SLIAC foe Eureka on Saturday afternoon, losing in straight sets, 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-20).

HOW IT HAPPENED
⁃ Claudia Spivey powered the offense with eight out of the 27 kills for Spalding.
⁃ Maddie Rosendaul held the back line, leading the way with 17 digs. Haley Just also recorded a solid 11 digs, while Claudia Spivey finished the game with five blocks at the net.
 
FOR THE FOES
⁃ Runa Akagawa led the Red Devils with 10 kills on the day, and Heather Robinson handed out 15 assists.
- While Evelyn Heyen led the way on defense with 26 digs, and Caitlin Miller helped at the net recoding four blocks.
