DANVILLE, Ky. – Head Coach Adam Boyer earned his 50^th career victory as the Spalding University men's soccer team rolled past Bluffton University, 9-0, in their season opener Saturday evening at Centre College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spalding jumped on the Beavers early, scoring a pair of goals in the fourth minute to take a 2-0 lead, and scored seven more securing the 9-0 win.
 - Kornell Hilliard, scored three goals on four shots earning a hat trick, while connecting on a pair of assists , tallying eight points for the game.
- Freshman Nick Lucas (1-0-0), making his first collegiate start in goal, earned a shutout win.
- Goals Scored for SU: Kornell Hilliard (3; 4^th, 11^th, 57^th), Trustun Ashburn (2; 81^st, 89^th), Jacob Holehan (80^th), Leslie Chu (67^th), Mirza Ugarak (47^th) and Sergio Olvera-Vancini (4^th).   
 
FOR THE FOES
- Michael Whelpley took all three of the Beavers shots on goal, while Patrick Spillman recorded a pair of shots.
- Connor Kaminicki (0-1-0), took the loss in goal, allowing eight goals while recording five saves.
