MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – The Spalding University Golden Eagles moved to 2-0 in SLIAC play following an 8-0 win at Iowa Wesleyan. With the win Spalding improves to 5-4 overall on the season.

- Spalding put away eight goals in the first half putting the game out of reach by halftime.

Lauren Locke scored a pair of goals in the 8
th and 13
th minute to lead SU in goals scored.

Baylee Tabler then scored at the nine minute mark assisted by
Kelsie Huffman. At the 17
th minute
Julie McGee scored a goal, followed by goals by
Shelby Lurie and
Paige Snepp to push the margin to 6-0 at 29
th minute.
- The final two goals were scored by
Hanna Watson during the 39
th minute assisted by
Shelby Lurie, and in the 44
th minute
Morgan Rood found the back of the net for the final goal of the game.

Ashlee Wilson (2-0-0) split time and had no shots attempted on them.
