OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – The Spalding University women's golf team had an outstanding showing at Oakland City University over the weekend taking second place shooting a 375-378=753 team score.

Freshman Beth Graham led the Golden Eagles finishing fourth in the individual standings firing 93-90=183.

Megan Shirley and Taylor Thompson finished one just one stroke apart. Shirley shot 91-95=186, while Thompson finish a stroke behind carding 93-94=187.

Destiny Calvert and Jordan Strother rounded out the group. Calvert carded 98-101=199, while Strother finished with a 102-99=201.

The Golden Eagles will wrap up the spring season with a two-day tournament this weekend hosted by University of Pikeville at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonburg, Ky.
