DANVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University women's golf team had a 29 shot improvement from their season opening tournament at Transy Wednesday, shooting a 375 on Thursday at the Jim English Invitational finishing sixth in the team standings. Milligan won the event finishing with 322.
The Golden Eagles posted two top-20 individual scores for the second consecutive event. Freshman
Taylor Thompson posted the top team score carding 82, tying for ninth place individually. Thompson was 10 shots better Thursday than in her opening round on Wednesday at Transylvania.
Beth Grahm, another freshman, carded an 89, second best for the Golden Eagles and three shots better than Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on September 12 and 13 at the Hanover Invitational in Hanover, Indiana.
