LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Spalding University women's golf team opened up the 2015 fall season at the Transylvania Intercollegiate finish sixth overall, shooting team score of 404. Hanover won the event finishing with a 333.
The Golden Eagles posted to top-20 individual scores. Freshman
Beth Grahm posted the top team score carding a 90, including eight pars on the day to finish 13
th.
Taylor Thompson, another freshman, finished four spots back in 17
th carding five pars finishing the day with a 21 over-par 92.
Rounding out the Golden Eagle team were sophomore
Megan Shirley (111), sophomore
Destiny Calvert (111) and freshman
Breanna Richardson (117).
The Golden Eagles will be back out on the course on Thursday at the Jim English Centre Invite in Danville, Kentucky.
