EUREKA, Ill. –  Al balanced attack led the Spalding University men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Eureka College in their SLIAC opener Friday in Eureka, Ill.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- McMurry got the scoring started in the 5^th minute taking a ball from Zach Fonda and firing past the EC goalkeeper.
- In the 33^rd minute, Dylan Albright found the back of the net to push the Golden Eagle margin to 2-0 heading into halftime.
- Sergio Olvera-Vancini set up goals by Fonda and Abdullahi in the 49^th and 55^th minute to make the final margin 4-0.

KEY STATS
- This mark the first time four Golden Eagles have registered a goal in the same game this season (Jacob McMurry - 5^th, Dylin Albright - 33^rd, Zach Fonda - 49^th,Abdullahi Abdullahi - 55^th).
- Senior goalkeeper Logan Spencer (4-2) returned from injury to earn his second shutout of the season tallying three saves.
