HOW IT HAPPENED- The Golden Eagles had two header attempts on goal early, the first by Gueye in the 14
th minute and the second by
Cory House at the 27:38 mark. However, Hanover goalkeeper Rafael DiMaio was able to make a save on both attempts.
- Following House's DiMaio found Enrico Franchini with a long punt, and Francini drove a shot past SU keeper
Aaron Seneker to the near post five yards out to put the Eagles in a 1-0 hole.
- Spalding threatened to start the second half, but Jacob McMurray's shot was saved. Twenty-one seconds later Franchini slotted his second goal to make the score 2-0, and Cameron Childers scored in the 85
th minute to make the final margin 3-0.
