EUREKA, Ill. – The Spalding University volleyball team played their third game in three days, defeating the Eureka Red Devils in straight sets on Wednesday night. The Red Devils played tough throughout with Spalding winning 25-20, 25-19 and 25-16.

Victoria Heitzman led with a team-high 10.
Ashley Larison recorded a new season-high four kills in the match. Heitzman recorded her tenth double-double of the season adding 11 digs in the match.
Spalding led in all major statistical categories including kills (33-24), blocks (7-5) and assists (33-19).
The Golden Eagles will be back in action Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. Spalding with a win, will split the four-game road trip.
