FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Spalding University women's golf team competed in the Lady Grizzly Fall Invite on Saturday finishing 6
th overall carding a 388 team score. Rend Lake won the one-day event with a 339 team score.
Individually for the Golden Eagles two golfers finished in the top 20.
Beth Graham placed tied for 11
th carding an 89 for the day. This is her second top finish for Spalding this season in four events. Finishing tied for 17
th was
Megan Shirley, two shots back of Graham at 91.
Taylor Thompson and
Breanna Richardson shared 40
th-place individually, both carding a 104. Rounding out the Golden Eagles competitors was Destiney Calvert as she shot a 114 finishing 45
th overall.
Spalding will be back out on the course this coming weekend, October 10 and 11 at the Pat Clouse Wittenberg Invite at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio.
