FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Spalding University women's golf team competed in the Lady Grizzly Fall Invite on Saturday finishing 6^th overall carding a 388 team score. Rend Lake won the one-day event with a 339 team score.
 
Individually for the Golden Eagles two golfers finished in the top 20. Beth Graham placed tied for 11^th carding an 89 for the day. This is her second top finish for Spalding this season in four events. Finishing tied for 17^th was Megan Shirley, two shots back of Graham at 91.
 
Taylor Thompson and Breanna Richardson shared 40^th-place individually, both carding a 104. Rounding out the Golden Eagles competitors was Destiney Calvert as she shot a 114 finishing 45^th overall.
 
Spalding will be back out on the course this coming weekend, October 10 and 11 at the Pat Clouse Wittenberg Invite at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio.
