The Spalding women's volleyball had six players record six or more kills as they used a balance attack to defeat Iowa Wesleyan College 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-17) Friday night. With the win SU improves their record to 8-9 overall and 2-4 in conference.

The Golden Eagles outhit the Tigers .295 – .253 and held a 42-30 kill advantage. E.C. Burkman led Spalding with a team-high nine kills and 10 digs, while Katelyn Cosgrove tallied seven kills and passed out 21 assists.

Spalding will be back in action Saturday, October 5 when they take on Eureka College at 2:00 p.m., ET in Eureka, Illinois .
