St. Louis, MO – The Spalding University volleyball team lost to Webster University Thursday in straight sets 25-14, 25-11, 25-17. The loss drops the Golden Eagles record to 6-9 overall and 1-4 in conference.

E.C. Burkman and Thea Mattingly paced the Spalding attack, recording nine kills each, while Morgan Wilson passed out 13 assists.

Casey Wilkerson led the defense with 12 digs, while Burkman added eight.

Spalding will be back in action today when they take on Iowa Wesleyan at 8:00 p.m., ET.
