The Spalding University volleyball team kept their post-season hopes alive beating Fontbonne University 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-17, 25-18) Friday night.

Junior outside hitter E.C. Burkman (Sacred Heart) led the SU attack with 15 kills, while Katelyn Cosgrove (Butler) passed out 20 assists.

Sarah Downs (North Bullitt) dominated the net with six solo blocks, while Casey Wilkerson (Male) and Burkman each tallied 13 assists.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host a quad-match at the Southern Indiana Sports Complex. SU will face SLIAC leading Greenville College at 12:00 p.m., ET, followed by Eureka College at 2:00 p.m., ET.
