Sophomore setter Katelyn Cosgrove had a team-high eight kills, 20 assists, and 19 digs to lead the Spalding University volleyball team to 3-1 (10-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19) victory over Principia College Saturday. With the win SU improves to 12-11 overall and 6-6 in the SLIAC.

E.C. Burkman and Thea Mattingly led the Golden Eagle attack. Burkman tallied eight kills, while Mattingly added seven. Morgan Wilson passed out 13 assists to add to Cosgrove's 20.

Victoria Heitzman tied Cosgrove with team-high 19 digs and libero Casey Wilkerson added 17. Freshman Sarah Thompson and Erin Downs guarded the net, combining for 4.5 blocks.

The Golden Eagles will return to action Friday, October 25 when they host Fontbonne University. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m., ET at Derek Smith Gymnasium (DSG).
