Alex Martin, a sophomore from Louisville, Ky., helped Spalding to a 1-1 record on the week, including a 76-74 overtime win at Webster. At Webster, Martin scored 22 points, including the game-winner, where she drove the length of the court with 4.2 seconds remaining to hit a layup at the buzzer for the win. Martin also had seven rebounds, four assists and four steals against the Gorloks.
