The Spalding men's and women's golf teams practice on the exquisite 18-hole championship golf course at Oxmoor Country Club. This par-72 course offers four sets of tee markers, well manicured bent grass tees, bent grass fairways and bent grass greens. With many challenging obstacles including seven watershed lakes, a meandering Weicher Creek, sand bunkers and hundreds of deciduous trees.
Oxmoor C.C. has been host to many prestigious events in it's 25 year history, including the men’s and women’s Kentucky Open, Ned Beatty Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament, Big East Conferene Championship, and National Senior Olympic Games.
To accent it's championship course, Oxmoor C.C. has a state of the art practice facility, reconstructed in 2010 by local golf course architect, Specer Holt.Â
Oxmoor's practice facility includes a 20,000 square foot bent grass putting green, with multiple hole locations, and subtle undulations in the green help you practice any type of putt you may face on the golf course. A short game improvement area includes a large green complex with two greenside bunkers, bent grass fairway and several large mounds to practice uneven lies. The practice facility also includes a 300 yard main driving range made up of a large one acre teeing area, fairway bunker for working on long bunker shots, state of the art artificial turf mats for inclement weather, five target greens and target fairway.
