LOUISVILLE, KY – Spalding University unveiled a refreshed athletic logo that will represent Golden Eagle student-athletes, teams, and fans for years to come. The updated design, developed in partnership with 5 Degrees Branding, reflects the energy, pride, and momentum of Spalding Athletics while honoring the traditions that define the University.
The new mark introduces a modernized visual identity for Spalding's athletics programs, featuring a bold and dynamic look that will be used across team uniforms, facilities, and fan gear. While the athletic wordmark and the familiar "SU" will remain unchanged, the new logo adds a fresh expression of the Golden Eagle spirit.
"This new logo gives us a strong and distinctive symbol that celebrates who we are today while carrying us into the future," said
Brian Clinard, Spalding University Athletic Director, "Our student-athletes work incredibly hard to represent Spalding with pride, and now they'll compete under a brand that matches that passion and commitment."
The design process included input from Spalding student-athletes, coaches, and campus leadership, with the goal of creating an image that resonates with the entire community.
Spalding fans will begin seeing the new logo rolled out immediately across athletics communications, uniforms, and merchandise.
