ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Erick Jenkins of men's track & field has earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Jenkins broke the school record for triple jump with an 11.90m jump, placing him in second. Erick also placed 7th, with a top-five performance in school history with his 5.76m long jump. 

This is Spalding men's track's first SLIAC Field Athlete of the Week award of the 2024 season.

The Golden Eagles' next meet is Friday, February 2nd. SU will race in the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invite.
