Spalding Announces Partnership with BlueFrame Technology

Louisville, KY (September 21, 2018) - Spalding University Athletics is pleased to announce a partnership with BlueFrame Technology to enhance the Spalding University Sports Network.

The Spalding Sports Network is a digital portal where fans are able to access live stream coverage of home games for the 2018-19 school year. Broadcasts started at the beginning of September and we will continue to stream a selection of sporting events throughout the year. In addition to live streaming, the "On Demand" feature gives viewers the opportunity to tune in and watch all the action even after the game is over.

Brian Clinard, Director of Athletic Communications at Spalding, commented, "Spalding Athletics is very excited about our partnership with BlueFrame Technology. Over the summer we underwent negotiations with several providers, and Josh and the BlueFrame team were first-class throughout the process" Clinard added, "In our eyes, BlueFrame offers the best end-to-end video streaming platform. It's also an added bonus that BlueFrame is a Kentucky based company located nearby in Lexington."

The Spalding University Sports Network can be found by visiting https://spaldingathletics.com/sports/2018/8/13/spalding-sports-network.aspx  or by going to spaldingathletics.com and clicking the SU Sports Network under the Fan Zone tab. Not only will broadcasts be available online but fans will also have the ability to watch Spalding athletic events on their television through Over-the-Top (OTT) applications. The sports network is available on television streaming devices by searching for "Team1Sports" and can be found on the following platforms – Amazon Fire, Android TV, Apple TV and Roku.

Once downloaded fans can open the app and then select Edit Channels to select Spalding as their favorite channel. This will allow fans to watch Spalding specific content easily on these television platforms.

Along with enhancing our network, Spalding University Athletics is utilizing BlueFrame's Production Truck Software to produce each broadcast. Production Truck provides the ability to put Spalding's brand first. Additionally, the software includes scoreboards, graphics, and other features that will continue to elevate the brand and quality of the Spalding University Sports Network.

"It's great to have Spalding utilizing the BlueFrame streaming service for their digital network," said Josh Braun, Director of Sales and Customer Service for BlueFrame Technology, "It's especially nice to have such a historic university that is located in the same state as BlueFrame. Having fellow Kentuckians utilizing the BlueFrame streaming service is such a great feeling for us."
