Jimi Keating a junior from Bardstown, Ky., had an outstanding week being named the SLIAC Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week, helping SU to a 2-1 win over Anderson University this weekend at Derby City Field. The right-hander pitched 8.2 innings giving up four hits, and one earned run. Keating struck out seven batters, while only giving up three walks on the evening. Keating currently ranks second in the SLIAC in strikeouts this season with 19.
