Jessica Diehl, a senior from Louisville, Ky., completed her final season as a Golden Eagle making history by becoming the first SU athlete to be named the SLIAC Volleyball Player of the Year. Diehl was a key factor for the offense averaging 3.15 kills per set earning a hitting percentage of .436 during conference play. The Golden Eagles had an improved 21-10 season, making the SLIAC Tournament for the second time in program history.
