Osman Hussein, a freshman forward from Louisville, Ky., finished his first season with the Golden Eagles on a high note earning the 2016 SLIAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year. Hussein tallied two big goals this week; one in the conference semifinal match in SU’s 4-3 win over Webster University, the other against Westminster College in the SLIAC championship game. The Golden Eagles earned their first ever regular season title, and made their second appearance ever in the SLIAC Tournament during their 2016 season.
