ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding women's basketball is selected to finish fifth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) this year, according to the 2025 SLIAC coaches preseason poll. 

The Golden Eagles were fifth in the poll with 34 points. Principia came in first place with 59 points and three first-place votes. Webster came in second with 57 points and five votes for first place. Westminster rounded out the top three with 50 points and one first-place vote

The Golden Eagles will start their season on the road in the Principia Tournament. This match will take place on November 7th.
