LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University men's golf team participated in the SLIAC Men's Championship at the Polo Fields Golf & Country Club taking sixth place overall.
Kendall Hale and
Nolan Keeler placed second and third claim SLIAC First Team All-Conference honors marking the first time the Golden Eagles have had two all-conference team members since 2016.
Kendall Hale placed second shooting a steady 73-75-75=223 three-round total. Keeler finished a stroke back carding a 244. He recovered from his opening round 82 with a second-round 69, one of just three rounds under par for the tournament and closed the tournament out with a 73 climb the leader board on the final day.
Andrew Bennett would finish the championship tying for 29th with a total score of 245, while
Coby Johnson place 42nd with a score of 262 in three rounds.
Caleb Popp rounded out the Golden Eagles five-man tying for 47th with a score of 272.
