JOELTON, Tenn. – The Spalding men's golf team competed at the Music City Shootout at the Nashville National Golf Links in Joelton, Tenn.
Nolan Keeler led the Golden Eagles carding a 6-over par 73-73=146 to placing second of 34 golfers. Kendal Hale also carded a top-5 finishing tied for 5
th shooting 75-74=149. Playing in his first tournament as a Golden Eagle,
Andrew Bennett, finished just outside the top-10 in 11
th place shooting a plus-13 75-78=153.
Coby Johnson climbed the leaderboard on day two shooting a 72 to finish the tournament tied for 14
th carding an 82-72=154 two-round total.
Hayden Hope rounded out the Spalding five-man roster finishing 23
rd carding 79-84=163.
Caleb Popp, Corey McGarvey and
Bradley Jones also competed in the event. Popp finished 25
th shooting 89-77=166. In his first collegiate tournament, McGarvey carded 96-83=179 and Jones shot 94-90=184.
