LIBERTY, Ind. - The Spalding men's golf team opened their 2021-22 campaign with a fourth place finish at the Quaker Fall Kickoff at Liberty Country Club in Liberty, Ind. The Golden Eagles carded a two-round score of 312-311=623.
Kendall Hale and
Nolan Keeler led the way for Spalding both finishing tied of 16th place in the individual standings. Hale shot a 76-76=152, while Keeler carded 75-77=152.
Coby Johnson also carded a top-20 finish carding 78-76=154 finishing tied for 20th.
Isaiah Scott and
Caleb Popp rounded out Spalding's five-man. Scott took 39th scoring a 83-82=165 and Popp placed 43rd carding 84-83=167.
Hayden Hope competed as an individual placing 42nd shooting 81-85=166.
Up next, the Golden Eagles head to Lexington, Ky. to compete in the Transylvania Fall Invitational. The event will be held September 4-5 at the University Club of Kentucky.
