The first USCAA Volleyball Coaches poll came out this week and the Spalding Golden Eagles currently sit 5^th overall. Florida College, the two-time reigning National Champions tops the poll compiling 283 points. Southern Virginia is close behind in 2^nd with 282 points. The Golden Eagles currently sit at 3-5 and go on the road today to play in-state rival, Transylvania University. The team will then return home this Thursday for their home opener when they take on Indiana University Southeast.

                Spalding will be hosting the USCAA National Championships once again this year at the MAVA complex. The tournament will start on November 3^rd and conclude on November 5^th.
