Women’s Basketball beat Principia Friday. Spalding took a 15 point lead into halftime and never looked back winning 70-33. The Lady Golden Eagles were led by sophomore Kerstin Hayes. Hayes finished with 21 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, and 1 block.    

 The Lady Golden Eagles fell to Webster Saturday. Spalding led at halftime by 6, but the Lady Golden Eagles could not overcome a cold shooting second half losing 62-53. Kerstin Hayes led Spalding with 13 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Lady Golden Eagles next home games are Tuesday January 10th against Fontbonne at 6:00pm, and Thursday January 12th against Blackburn College at 6:00pm.
