Jessica Guy Earns SLIAC Player of the Week Honors

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Spalding University’s Jessica Guy, a freshman from Louisville, Ky. (Moore), has been named the Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of December 5-11.
Guy, a 5-11 forward, averaged 16.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two contests including her second career double-double. In a 61-50 victory over Midway College, she had career-highs with 27 points (on 12-of-16 shooting) and 11 rebounds. The performance followed a six-point, eight-rebound night in a 63-37 loss to Indiana University-Southeast. Guy also registered two steals and one assist in each game.
The Lady Golden Eagles play host to St. Mary of the Woods tonight at Derek Smith Gymnasium. Game time is 7pm.
