Tim Clark

Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach

Coach Clark enters his sixth year as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles and his eighth year working with Coach Just, having spent two years on the Holy Cross staff with him.

Tim brings a wealth of basketball knowledge with him to Spalding. He played his high school basketball for Coach Glenn Collie at Valley High School. He then had an excellent college career at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia.

Since returning to Kentucky, Tim has served as the head girl’s coach at Evangel Christian School and was also an assistant coach at Holy Rosary Academy. Perhaps his finest coaching moment came in 2002. As an assistant coach at Holy Cross High School, he was elevated to interim head coach midway through the season. He then led the Lady Cougars all the way to the championship game of the 6th Region, where they were eventually defeated by Butler High School.

Coach Clark has an excellent understanding of the game and is an outstanding teacher. He also has a deep commitment to seeing all of the young ladies who he coaches become successful people both on and off of the floor. Coach Just is grateful for the contributions that Coach Clark makes to the program. “Tim is not just a good basketball coach—he is an even better person,” he commented. “He is a very good teacher of the game and has tremendous patience, while still demanding high achievement. I am extremely fortunate to have him with us!”

Tim and his wife Leah have two daughters, Amanda and Emily.
