Head Track and Field Coach

I am a native of Louisville and have demonstrated a dedication to the coaching profession since 1975,where I was an Assistant Jumps and Sprint Coach until 1981. After building an insurance business from 1981 to 1993, I returned as a Head Coach , Track and Field and Cross Country from 1994 to 2004 while serving 1 year as Assistant basketball coach. During the spring of 2004, I enrolled again at U of L to complete a degree in Health and Human Performance with a Major-Exercise Science. While serving as Boys Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach in 2006, I accepted an assistant Sprint/Hurdle Coaching position at the University of Louisville mentored by Head Coach Ron Mann (2006-2008). I have now earned a degree in Health and Human Performance with a Major in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville. I am also the Head Coach of the new Track and Field program at Spalding University in Louisville, KY.

I am the principal partner in Kentuckiana Fitness Group. Our mission is to provide a gateway for High Schools and Division II and III colleges to receive high quality sport specific strength and conditioning training. I was the former Strength and Conditioning Assistant Track and Field Coach at Louisville Central High School which they became the 2010 State Champions.
