Men’s Golf Finishes 7th at Don Bishop
The Men’s Golf team traveled to Campbellsville, KY this week to compete in the Don Bishop Invitational hosted by Campbellsville University. Last year the team competed in this event and took an 8th place finish. There was improvement this year as the team finished in 7th place coming in behind the 5th place finisher by just 8 shots. The University of the Cumberlands won the event followed by Lindsey Wilson College and coming in third was the host school, Campbellsville.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was Keith Thompson who finished 15th overall with a score of 153. The next best finisher for Spalding was Sean Hennesey followed by Ben Hagan who came in 32nd and 36th respectively with scores of 160 and 161. Fredrik Lindblom from the University of the Cumberlands won the event with a score of 143.
The Golf team will be back in action this Saturday as they compete in the Centre College Invitational II.
